Here is an example of a standard Collegiate Chapter of the Month blog I wrote each month (when chapters sent me content!) for Phi Mu Fraternity. This example is from June 2021. For these monthly blogs, I planned a content calendar to highlight chapters that represented the diversity found within Phi Mu. I communicated with chapter officers, edited the responses they submitted via email, and collected photos.
In summer 2021, I wrote this blog for prospective new members participating in formal recruitment on their campuses. I contacted chapter officers and edited the responses they provided via email and selected photos to complement the blog.
To support our senior campaign for our class of 2021, I wrote this blog that provided advice from young alumnae on a variety of topics. I interviewed four young alumnae who each pursued a different path after graduation.
For Volunteer Appreciation Week in April 2021, I wrote this blog to highlight an outstanding alumna volunteer. This blog was especially meaningful to me because it allowed me to interview and write about the impact of one of my Phi Mu mentors.
For Women’s History Month 2021, I interviewed four accomplished alumnae for this blog. I conducted phone and email interviews with these women to gain their perspectives on women’s progress.
During the earliest days of the pandemic, I wrote this blog in March 2020 to provide a resource to members struggling with the demands of e-learning. I interviewed three alumnae who are teachers to get their tips for success.
For Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ Child Health Day 2019, I wrote this blog about an outstanding collegiate volunteer. I conducted phone interviews with her and a hospital administrator.
